The Work We Do
We remove popcorn ceilings and repair the surfaces beneath them. Some ceilings need repairs at a few gouges or open seams. Others need skim coating across a larger area before they are ready for primer and paint. We also repair ceiling damage and match texture where a patch meets the existing finish.
Uneven texture and visible seams need different work. We check the ceiling condition before choosing the repair. Removing texture exposes the surface we have to finish; it does not leave every ceiling ready for paint.
How We Work
We start with a surface assessment. We examine the texture, visible damage, seams, and previous patches. We identify pre-work and testing needs before removal begins.
We protect floors and walls before wetting and removing texture. During removal, we work carefully around the drywall face paper. Once the texture is off, we repair gouges and open seams with joint compound and the repair materials each area needs. We skim coat where needed to prepare an even surface.
We let repairs dry before sanding. Then we apply ceiling primer and complete the selected finish. Each step prepares the surface for the next. Paint cannot fill an open seam or flatten a ridge left in a patch.

Clear Job Descriptions
We write down the rooms and ceiling areas included in your job. We name the texture we will remove, the repairs we can identify, and the finish we will apply. We also explain when removal may reveal damage that was hidden beneath the texture.
Removal, drywall repair, and painting are separate parts of the work. Your job description names which parts we will complete. For a texture repair, we identify the patch area and the adjoining ceiling we will work into. For a smooth finish, we describe the surface preparation needed before primer and paint.
How We Plan the Work
We measure the ceilings and check room access, ceiling height, furniture, and fixtures. Those details guide floor protection, equipment placement, and the order in which we work through your rooms. We explain what needs to move before the crew begins. Our room preparation guide covers that part of the job.
You can choose a smooth ceiling or a light knockdown texture after removal. We plan the repair and finishing steps around that choice. We also allow time for joint compound, primer, and paint to dry between applications.
We serve Boise and nearby Kuna, Eagle, and Caldwell. We plan each job from the ceiling and rooms at your property.

Work We Perform
Our ceiling services include popcorn ceiling removal, removal with drywall repair, removal with painting and finishing, texture matching and retexturing, and ceiling repair.
We do not cover loose or damaged material with a new finish and call the repair complete. We identify what needs repair before finishing. When ceiling damage comes from an unresolved leak, we explain that the water source needs repair before we restore the ceiling.
